The University of Rochester Youth Volleyball Clinics are designed for boys and girls ages 8- 14 who are familiar with, but relatively new to the sport of volleyball and wish to improve their skill and learn the game. The clinics will focus on teaching the game of volleyball, the associated skills and having fun! The clinic is comprised of instruction, skill work, game play, and competition. Players are divided based on skill level.
As space is limited, Early Registration (by February 10, 2019) is encouraged. Cost is $100 per child for all three sessions or $150.00/family of 2 or more siblings attending. Late registration, after February 10, 2019 is $125 per child or $175 /family of 2 or more siblings attending. Discounts available for UR employees (10%). Development and Prospect Camp
Dates: July 19-21, 2019
Ages: Girls Ages 10-18
Price (Resident): $425 (includes on– campus housing and all meals beginning with dinner on 7/19/19)
Price (Commuter): $350 (day camp experience including dinner on 7/19, lunch and dinner on 7/20 and lunch on 7/21)

Designed for beginning and intermediate level Junior and High School girls through high-level high school varsity girls and club experienced players, this is an opportunity for all campers whether first time players, or advanced players to improve their skill level, continue to develop, and be a part of the URVB experience. Campers will be skills tested the first day of camp and divided into courts based on skill level, age, and experience. Instruction includes basic training and advanced training in techniques of passing, setting, attacking, blocking, serving and defense. Additional training is given in game strategy, competition situations and game play. Team bonding activities add to the experience of the younger campers and old campers have the opportunity to attend a recruiting seminar if interested, which includes a question and answer session with coaches, current and former studentathletes, and provides insights into the recruiting process.
